Come May and June every year, my sisters and I will be scratching our heads trying to figure out what to get for Mum and Dad. Dad's birthday is usually a week after Mother's day and Mum's birthday is normally one week before Father's day.
Photos taken during these celebrations for the past 3 years lack something... ME. This year, I am able to celebrate all these meaningful occasions again. But thinking about what presents to give? what cake to buy? how to celebrate? is a real HEADACHE.
Today, my mum is a year wiser. I will not reveal her age here (but you can count from the candles.. hehe). "Belanja-ed" mum to a nice dinner of HUGE CRAB last saturday and bought her a HUGE Mocha Walnut cake from Secret Recipe. The cake was pretty good and not very sweet.
Celebrated Mother's day and Daddy's Birthday in Turkey. No photos cause dad was clad in pyjamas while blowing the candles.
Got mum one of her favourite perfumes, Baby Doll from YSL for Mother's Day.
OK, three down, one more to go.. Father's Day next weekend... hmmmmmmm??!! HEADACHE but FUN to be around again. :):)
