Birthday celebration

Celebrating birthday in Malaysia is definitely different from Japan. Here, I get to celebrate it with my family and friends (Had lunch with my best buddies. Hey women, send me the photos la!) :-)

This year, it wasn't the normal dinner and birthday cake but something rather unusual because my uncle came back from Australia.

We had gambling tables up at home. The youngest gambler being 8 and the oldest gambler at 80!!


My cousin, Krystal who speaks perfect Australian english. But don't you dare scold her in cantonese or mandarin because she speaks perfect cantonese and understands mandarin.

 

The extraodinary dish for dinner. This "choy keok" is normally prepared during Chinese New Year from leftover food and meat. I have not had this dish for over 3 years now so it was a fabulous and yummy dinner. :b This specially prepared dish is obviously not made from leftovers and mum had to buy expensive vegetable and meat to get this done. *burp*

 

Just yummilicous!

 

And of course during birthdays, we get to blow the candles and cut the birthday cake.


Making a wish and blowing the candles... count the candles!! Damn, I am OLD!
