It is Autumn!

Signs of autumn.. chestnuts. Here are the desserts I found in Sogo Sannomiya today.. alot of chestnuts dessert. But a bit costly lar, so never buy and try. Also kinda dangerous. Because of all the calories!!!

Here, we have some chestnut kuih. All with chestnut fillings. Looks extremely delicious. They even have chestnuts for decoration... observe those rambutan look-alike fruit.. those are chestnuts!

And here we have a variety of chestnut cakes. 4 types of chestnut cakes. On the left hand side of the lowest shelf (525 yen = RM18.30). On the lowest shelf next to the chocolate cake (420 yen = RM14.70). On the middle shelf, the green looking cup (420 yen). And finally at the top left corner of the shelf, 2 larger chestnut cakes (1050 yen = RM36.75). Mind you the size of the larger cake is like those banana cakes at home!! Expensive, but very beautiful...

And also saw this in one of the kimono shops. A sign that autumn has arrived and winter is on its way as well. Such a beautiful kimono, but don't ask me the price. I bet it costs a bom since the normal summer kimono is darn expensive and now with more material used to make the winter kimono, I am sure it will cost a lot more as well.

Ahh... a sign of autumn. And I will be spending my first autumn and winter in Japan. It is gonna be cold. A good change from the 365 days of heat in Malaysia.
